DIWA is an international network of independent websites focusing on digital imaging. Their collaboration is formalised through the organisation Digital Imaging Websites Association (DIWA). By utilising the expertise from each individual website and adopting universal testing procedures, the organisation will produce the most comprehensive, versatile, neutral and reliable reviews of digital imaging products.
Such products include digital cameras of all categories, photo printers, photo scanners, imaging software and accessories. Groundbreaking innovations will also be evaluated.
For the evaluation of cameras, for example, each testing expert will examine a unique test sample, make a personal review of the product and evaluate the qualities of more than 200 functions and features in a standardised testing scoreboard. The balanced summaries from all DIWA experts are then transformed into a ranking list for each product category. The best products will receive a DIWA Award for excellence.
